Following the success of Regent’s BR9, Springfield has released their own modernized version of the Browning Hi Power. Springfield’s reputation among firearms owners is rocky and the SA-35 starts at $700 compared to the BR9’s $500. The success of Springfield’s take on John Moses Browning’s revered design is yet to be seen, but given Regent’s success and solid support for gun rights, it doesn’t look promising.
